016Waiting For Go
posted by Daniel on April 21st, 2008
Slowly I brought my steel coach
To halt before the pole,
With a head affixed atop it,
Three big eyes bulging out from it,
Stared at me as I approach
Akin a hasty foal.
My eyes darted to and fro
My left then to my right,
Scanning other coaches ’round me,
Formed up with me like an army,
Ready for the signal ‘Go!’
Ready for fight or flight.
One steel coach in front of me
Was twice the size of mine,
From its window, heads aligned,
Weary faces, limbs confined,
In such state, devoid of glee,
Could one smile brightly shine?
There - a rider to my right
Shifted unceasingly,
He pressed two fingers on his temple,
As if soothing mental trouble,
Here - troubled with my own plight,
With no one to take pity.
And to my left - a lady
With her own black caroche,
Such a picture made me wonder,
“Was that gifted from her father?”
Well, even though I’m not wealthy
At least I’ve my own coach.
Then suddenly - mass movement
In crawling unison,
The Bus, The Ford and The Beemer,
Starting moving forth together,
I ceased my contemplation,
And in first gear, drove on.

I had to read twice to make sure that I get wut u’re talking about. I think I got it after the 2nd read XD
Maybe it’s the lack of sleep, thoughts that put myself to hold, guess I should not think too much XD

April 21st, 2008 at 7:14 pmToday is lazy day for me,
It’s hard to think of rhymes,
As much as I don’t want to,
I’ll push myself this time.
I dislike driving intensely,
I do as little as I must,
I’d hand it over to a buddy,
To those I like and trust.
Cause though I do not like it much,
I hate bad drivers more,
Those who jerk and swerve and such,
It…uhh… makes me want to scream and roar?
(Either that, or scream “You whore!” ?)
